SAG Award Winners Announced

Thanks to a waiver from the WGA, the Screen Actors Guild Awards went ahead last night with all the stars turning out to celebrate their craft. “No Country for Old Men,” “The Sopranos” and “30 Rock” proved multiple award winners.

Day-Lewis, Christie and Bardem scored expected wins for acting, though “American Gangster” actress Ruby Dee beat out favourite Cate Blanchett for supporting actress. Here’s the complete list of this year’s winners:

Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis, “There Will Be Blood”

Best Actress: Julie Christie, “Away From Her”

Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem, “No Country for Old Men”
