Lionsgate has moved Jason Statham starrer “Safe” back into the late spring season on April 27th 2012 from a March 2nd release says Variety.
The film was first scheduled for October 28th this year. Statham plays a former elite agent who fights to rescue a 12-year-old girl.
Meanwhile John Hillcoat’s much anticipated adaptation of “The Wettest County in the World” starring Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman and Shia LaBeouf has been set for April 20th 2012.
Finally the Sam Raimi-produced horror feature “The Possession” starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick has been pushed back eight months from January 6th to August 31st.
