“S.W.A.T.,” “SEAL,” “Damnation” Ordered To Series

CBS has locked down some more shows that are being ordered to series for the Fall including the “S.W.A.T.” reboot with Shemar Moore and Alex Russell and “Instinct” with Alan Cumming as an ex-spook turned profiler.

Also on the way from them are “Wisdom of the Crowd” starring Jeremy Piven as a crowdsourcing tech genius trying to solve murders, the David Boreanaz-led military themed “SEAL Team,” and the Johnny Galecki produced “By the Book”.

FOX has is nearing a straight-to-series pickup for the Ryan Murphy-produced procedural drama “911” described as “ER” but about 911 operators. Angela Bassett is set to lead the cast and executive produce with a midseason launch likely.

USA Network has greenlit “Damnation” to series. The project, described as “an epic saga about the secret history of the 1930’s American heartland,” stars Killian Scott, Logan Marshall-Green and Sarah Jones.

USA Network has also greenlit true crime series “Unsolved” based on the murder investigations of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Josh Duhamel plays LAPD Detective Greg Kading who led multiple law enforcement task forces investigating the murders. Jimmi Simpson, Bokeem Woodbine, Marc Rose and Wavyy Jonez also star.
