In practically every previous interview with the likes of the Russo brothers, Kevin Feige, Jeph Loeb and the various actors, all have suggested that the chances of Marvel’s TV heroes popping up in “Avengers: Infinity War” are slim to none and have mentioned a bunch of reasons as to why not.
That doesn’t mean it can’t happen though, and today the Russo Brothers have give fans their first glimpse of hope that some members of Netflix’s The Defenders could still appear. Speaking The Toronto Sun, Anthony Russo says: “We do consider everyone, we don’t want to get too specific about what’s going to happen with these movies. We want these movies to be a surprise for audiences.”
Joe Russo meanwhile has spoken about Brie Larson’s casting as Captain Marvel in the film and seems very happy with the results: “It’s an incredible piece of casting. You couldn’t ask for better. Not only is she an amazingly talented actor but she’s a wonderful human being. We’re really looking forward to the opportunity of re-teaming with her… if we were to get the chance to work with that character.”
“Avengers: Infinity War” is currently targeting a November start of production.
