Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford are both set to depart “DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” sometime during its upcoming fifth season.
Routh joined the third season of “Arrow” as Ray Palmer/Atom and jumped the character over to ‘Legends’ with the show’s pilot. Ford, who is also Routh’s wife offscreen, portrays Nora Dark in the series and was a recurring role in the third season followed by a regular player in the fourth.
Roth and Ford’s exits stem from a creative decision to wrap up their storyline, and the show’s ensemble nature allows it to change up its core team at a fairly regular clip. Producers however are leaving the door open for Ray and Nora to pop back in for guest appearances.
Routh and Ford are expected to film their final episode in October with the new season to kick off airing in January.
