Tim Roth is set to play Monaco’s ambitious and strong-headed Prince Rainier III in Olivier Dahan’s “Grace of Monaco” at YRF Entertainment says Variety.
Nicole Kidman is already set to star as legendary actress Grace Kelly at a point six years into her marriage to the monarch of the wealthy but small European nation. Now retired, she is called upon to save Monaco from an escalating situation regarding its standing as a tax haven.
Rainier initially lets his emotions get in the way of his work and marriage, but eventually lets Kelly guide him in decision-making. Frank Langella is in negotiations to play Father Tucker, the priest who set the pair up and dispenses advice to ensure their marriage survives.
Arash Amel penned the script while Pierre-Ange Le Pogam is producing. Shooting kicks off this Fall in France.
