Ruby Rose, Andy Serkis and Tom Wilkinson have joined “Outlander” star Sam Heughan in the just finished filming action-thriller “SAS: Red Notice” based on the book by UK soldier turned author Andy McNab.
Magnus Martens (“Jackpot”) helmed the London-shot project in which a small army of well-trained criminals have hijacked the Eurostar deep beneath the English Channel with plans to destroy the passage and kill their 400 hostages.
They’re also unaware SAS soldier Tom Buckingham (Heughan) is onboard with his expectant wife and will unleash all he has in order to save her and the rest of the passengers.
Wilkinson and Rose play the patriarch and scion respectively of a private military company, while Serkis plays a liaison to the Prime Minister. They join Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hopper, Owain Yeoman, Noel Clarke, Ray Panthaki, Jing Lusi, Douglas Reith, Richard McCabe and Anne Reid.
Laurence Malkin and Chad Thumann penned the script and the first photo is out of Heughan and Rose and can be seen above. The film is targeting a 2020 release in the UK.
