“Hellboy” and “Sons of Anarchy” star Ron Perlman has joined the cast of NBC’s “The Blacklist” says TV Guide.
The series is currently in the midst of a break, the second season’s first eight episodes wrapping up many of the key storylines. Yet seeds were also planted regarding what’s to come next and the series returns with a high profile, post-Super Bowl episode on February 1st.
Perlman will appear as Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. He creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants, and soon faces off with Red Reddington (James Spader).
Perlman is just the latest high-profile guest star on the series which has seen the likes of Paul Reubens, Mary-Louise Parker, Peter Fonda, Krysten Ritter, Peter Stormare and Alan Alda appearing in recent episodes.
