Ron Howard is set to direct Vince Vaughn in an untitled comedy about the darker areas of relationships for Universal Pictures says the trades.
The story follows a man who learns that his best friend’s wife is cheating and must then navigate treacherous waters to decide what do with that knowledge. The tone is said to mix comedy and drama much like “The Break-Up” did. Allan Loeb (“21,” “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”) penned the script.
The project marks Howard’s first since “Angels and Demons” and the first time he and Vaughn have worked together.
Vaughn will produce along with Brian Grazer. Filming kicks off this Spring in Chicago.
