Rogue One To Get A New Trailer Next Week

It has been two months since the release of the first trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” with many fans keenly awaiting the next one sometime soon. To date the best bet has been that the second trailer will launch with the ‘Rogue One’ panel at the Star Wars Celebration convention in London which kicks off next Friday afternoon, July 15th, in the UK.

Well that guess is looking pretty solid as Making Star Wars reports that U.S. TV network ABC has announced the hourlong special ” Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey” to air on Friday, July 15th at 8pm. It’s indicated that the special will also include a “three-minute trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

‘Rogue One’ is the first “Star Wars” live-action movie to fall outside the Skywalker saga storyline, this one going back to a time right before the events of ‘A New Hope’. Since that first trailer there’s been some big reveals as well from the confirmation of Darth Vader’s presence to other franchise news such as casting of Alden Ehrenreich as the new Han Solo who may (not yet confirmed) cameo in ‘Rogue One’.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” opens in December.
