Advance movie ticket retailers are reporting strong sales for Disney’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” following its first full day of business.
Fandango has issued a release saying there was ‘extraordinary demand’ for tickets and within minutes hundreds of thousands of tickets were sold. Movietickets.com claims ‘Rogue One’ dominated 76% of the site’s sales.
According to CFI) suggest the Chinese opening weekend could be as high as $150 million. No specific release date there has yet been announced.
