It seems hanging off an actual airplane as it is taking off isn’t the only death-defying stunt we’ll see Tom Cruise engage in during the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation”.
Speaking with Yahoo recently, the actor has revealed that the film contains what was a far more harrowing stunt for him – one he’s wanted to do for a long time. Cruise explains it thus:
“We have something I’ve always wanted to do: an underwater sequence without cuts. The kind of training I had to do for that was pretty intense. I’ve done a lot of underwater scenes but I’ve never done one [like this] that will get the audience to lean forward and have a visceral reaction.”
The Christopher McQuarrie-directed “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” is slated to hit cinemas on July 31st.
