Roger Kumble (“Cruel Intentions,” “The Sweetest Thing”) has signed on to direct “After We Collided,” the sequel to this year’s young adult romance drama “After” from Voltage Pictures. That film grossed nearly $70 million at the global box office.
Original stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin are reprising their roles as Tessa and Hardin and are joined this time out by Dylan Sprouse (“The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”) in this next adaptation of the Anna Todd novel series.
In the sequel, Tessa and Hardin, despite starting a tumultuous relationship, get a bombshell revelation about the origins of their relationship – and Hardin’s mysterious past. Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise.
Todd and Mario Celaya co-write the script. Filming kicks off this month.
