Funnymen Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (“The Night Before,” “This Is the End”) are reportedly teaming again for a film adaptation of the best-selling children’s book series “Where’s Waldo” says The Tracking Board.
The book series, also known as “Where’s Wally” in some countries, asked readers to find the obscured Waldo and his red-and-white-striped sweater in the midst of crowded images.
The film, which MGM announced when they scored the rights five years ago, centers on a janitor-inventor who embarks on adventures through time and space. Rogen and Goldberg are said to produce the film, but the report doesn’t say if they’ll write or direct. At last report Todd Berger was working on the script.
The pair have both the very R-rated comedies “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” and “Sausage Party” along with AMC’s comic adaptation “Preacher” on the way later this year.
