R&B singer Ne-Yo, “Transformers” latino spunk Ramon Rodriguez, OC & Texas Chainsaw blond stud Taylor Handley and “Lincoln Heights” star Cory Hardrict have all joined the cast of sci-fi war feature “Battle: Los Angeles” for Sony Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story, about a marine platoon facing off an alien invasion of the City of Angels, stars Aaron Eckhart as the leader of the group trying to rescue people trapped in a community center.
Ne-Yo, Rodriguez, Handley and Hardrict will all play members of the platoon. Jadin Gould, Bryce Cass and Joey King will play kids trapped in said center.
Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pena also star. Jonathan Liebesman is directing and shooting kicks off this week in Shreveport, Louisiana.
