Yesterday’s posting of a new logo on all of their social media channels suggested that Rockstar Games was about to make a big announcement regarding another entry in the “Red Dead” video game series. Today, they’ve released another image that seemingly confirms the news.
In the photo, seven silhouettes are seen against the skyline. With “Grand Theft Auto V” allowing players to control three different characters, it’s expected this “Red Dead Redemption” follow-up will boast a similar playstyle.
Five years ago Rockstar took the same approach when announcing “Grand Theft Auto V,” rolling out short teases for a full week before revealing the full product that Friday.
“Red Dead Revolver” was first released in 2004 and went on to sell over 1.1 million copies worldwide. “Red Dead Redemption” sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide in 2010.
