The Elton John biopic “Rocketman” is getting an early wide screening.

Fandango has announced that members of Fandango VIP, their free-to-join rewards program, will screen the Taron Egerton-led film several weeks early via its Early Access Screening program – the third film they’ve done like this (following “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” and “Shazam”).

Said early screenings are happening on May 18th, just a few days after it premieres at the Cannes Film Festival, at over 400 theaters across the United States. The previews come a full week ahead of its opening at the end of the month.

The previews come ahead of the fantastical, musical retelling of his rise to fame as one of the most unique, stylish and energetic performers to ever grace performing arenas around the world. Jamie Bell, Richard Madden and Bryce Dallas Howard co-star in the Dexter Fletcher-helmed film.

In addition, the film itself is set to include a brand new song written specifically for it – a duet between the real Elton John and Taron Egerton titled “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again”. The song was written by Elton John and his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin – the song being the last of 22 tracks and likely to be on the film’s closing credits.
