Robot, “O.J.” Lead 2016’s TCA Noms

USA’s “Mr. Robot” and FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” have topped this year’s nominations for the Television Critics Association awards which recognises outstanding television programming in the 2015-16 season. Both shows scored four nominations apiece.

Other programs faring well were “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “The Americans,” “UnREAL,” “Master of None,” “Fargo,” “Better Call Saul,” “Game of Thrones,” “Veep,” “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” and the telemovie “All The Way”. HBO was the most nominated network with twelve noms across seven shows followed by FX with eleven noms and Netflix with six.

The biggest award for program of the year is a seven way competition between “The Americans,” “Fargo,” “Game of Thrones,” “Making a Murderer,” “Mr. Robot,” “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and “UnREAL”.
