Emma Roberts and AnnaSophia Robb are attached to star in the music-driven romance drama “Anything But Ordinary” which is being developed as both a book and film by Alloy Entertainment and Southpaw Entertainment says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows a 17-year-old diving champion who suffers a tragic accident during her final Olympic trials. Its considered a miracle when she awakes from a coma five years later, but she has become a synesthete – someone who processes words and numbers through color, the third dimension and sound.
Sanaa Hamri is attached to direct while Charlie Craig wrote the original story and the screenplay, which Liz Garcia and Lisa Barrett polished. Richard Lewis will produce while Lara Avary will pen the book.
