Now, Activision has recruited “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie and actor Robert Downey Jr. to re-team for this year’s 60-second launch promo for ‘Black Ops II’, the latest game in the “Call of Duty” series.
Joining them are “The Intouchables” breakout star Omar Sy, and Youtube sensation Kyle Lamar Myers (aka. ‘FPSRussia’). The spot launches tonight with Monday night football.
Last year’s entry in the series, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” became the biggest entertainment launch of all time with 6.5 million copies sold (and $400 million in revenue generated) in the U.S. and U.K. within 24 hours.
