Ridley Scott To Do A “King David” Movie?

Ridley Scott is sticking to the Biblical storytelling it would seem as some of the same team behind his upcoming Moses tale “Exodus: Gods and Kings” are re-teaming for a new David and Goliath film.

“David” will reportedly be set post-Goliath and follow the Old Testament character and King of Israel during his reign. 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment, who are releasing “Exodus” in December, will produce.

Jonathan Stokes has been tapped to pen the script while Scott will produce. It’s unclear at this point if Scott is considering directing as he has a busy schedule already with both “The Martian” and the “Prometheus” follow-up in the works.
