Ridley Scott Keen On “Queen & Country”

Sir Ridley Scott is reportedly in talks to produce and direct a film adaptation of the Eisner award-winning Greg Rucka comic “Queen and Country” at 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment.

Set in the fictional British Secret Intelligence Service, the action follows an operative named Tara Chace who is used as bait to draw out an international terrorist after an attack in London. The series ran for 32 issues from 2001 to 2007.

John Rogers, Ryan Condel, Olivia Milch, and Rucka wrote drafts of the script over the years. Ellen Page was attached to star at one point but is no longer involved.
