“Rick & Morty” Creator Helps “Doctor Strange”

In a surprising twist, it has been revealed that “Community” and “Rick and Morty” creator Dan Harmon was involved in Marvel’s upcoming “Doctor Strange” film.

THR says that after the film wrapped principal photography and a first cut of the film was assembled, director Scott Derrickson and Marvel Studios brought in Harmon to pen the script for several additional scenes which were recently shot.

“Sinister” duo Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill penned the film’s script while Jon Spaihts receives a story credit. Harmon’s work will be uncredited, not unusual for him as he did similar script doctoring for the likes of the first “Kung Fu Panda” and the animated “Monster Hourse”.

The question is what are the scenes? With Harmon’s pedigree, the best guess would be either some moments of humor or some fairly far out ideas like he’s able to demonstrate on “Rick and Morty,” though they probably won’t be as out there as that show can get.
