Ryan Reynolds has been using social media to talk about the “Deadpool” movie currently in production, with one issue regularly coming up being the film’s rating. It was previously said the studio had yet to decide if the film adaptation will be rated R or PG-13.
Asked about the rating, Reynolds posted this morning: “I want #Deadpool to be R. Always have. Fighting the good fight still. Lotta yelling today.” The film’s director Tim Miller, and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have all previously said that they want the movie to be rated R.
In other news about the film, THR says newcomer Brianna Hildebrand has joined the cast as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a character who briefly appeared in Grant Morrison’s “New X-Men” run.
