Release & Title Changes: March 4th 2012

Various release date shifts and two major film title changes have just taken place, here’s the key changes with thanks to Box Office Mojo and Deadline.

The Guy Pearce ‘prison in space’ sci-fi thriller “Lockout” has been moved up a week to April 13th.

The Jane Fonda-led “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding” has been pushed back a week to June 8th.

Alex Kurtzman’s directorial debut starring Chris Pine has been set for a June 29th release.

Focus has set the two young women start a phone sex business comedy “For a Good Time, Call… ” for September 14th.

Andrew Dominik’s crime drama “Cogan’s Trade” with Brad Pitt is changing its title to the much more generic “Killing Them Softly”. It remains set for its September 21st release.

Walter Salles’ long awaited adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” still hasn’t set a U.S. release date but the U.K. just scored one this week – September 21st.

The Jake Gyllenhaal-led gritty L.A. cops drama “End of Watch” has been slotted in for a September 28th release.

Kathryn Bigelow’s hunt for Osama bin Laden film has scored a new working title – “Zero Dark Thirty”. It remains on track for a delivery in December.

Finally, Universal has set this Jason Bateman/Melissa McCarthy comedy for a May 10th 2013 release.
