Release Changes: March 16th 2009

‘Zephyr’ is back with a few random updates of recent release date shifts in the post-Marvel Studios schedule shake-up of last week:

The MGM comedy starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Zahn, and Woody Harrelson has finally found a release date: May 15th 2009.

My Life in Ruins
The romantic comedy has been delayed from May 8th 2009 to June 19th.

The Time Traveler’s Wife
The high concept romance from New Line starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana has been scheduled for August 14th 2009.

Final Destination: Death Trip 3D
Warner Bros. and New Line, just a week after moving up a week from August 21st to August 14th, has moved back two weeks to August 28th 2009 in direct competition to Halloween 2.

Ong Bak 2
The sequel to the Thai martial arts hit will come out some time in October 2009.

Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire
The surprise hit from Sundance will be released by Lionsgate on November 6th 2009, with the intention to expand to multiple cities by November 20th.

Everybody’s Fine
The Miramax comedy starring Robert DeNiro, Kate Beckinsale, Drew Barrymore, and Sam Rockwell will come out November 20th 2009.

Root of All Evil
The Screen Gems horror thriller has been delayed from April 9th 2010 to an undetermined date.

Death of a Funeral
The Screen Gems remake of the 2007 ensemble comedy starring Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, and Tracy Morgan will come out April 23rd 2010.

Katherine Heigl/Ashton Kutcher Untitled Action Comedy
The action comedy, previously titled The Killers, has been scheduled by Lionsgate for an ambitious June 4th 2010.

The Angelina Jolie-led action-thriller has been given the tentpole release date of July 23rd 2010.
