Reeves, Fisher Up For “The Starling”

Keanu Reeves is in talks and Isla Fisher is in final negotiations to star in the dramedy “The Starling” which will be directed by Dome Karukoski (“Tom of Finland”).

The story follows a married couple who lose a child. As the wife goes into a recovery place to help her with overwhelming grief, the husband is left at home alone and decides to build a beautiful garden for his wife in their backyard.

As he does he is tormented by an aggressive, black starling. He consults a quirky former psychiatrist turned veterinarian to find out how to get rid of it and soon the vet helps counsel the husband.

Matt Harris penned the Black List script while Dylan Sellers and Kevin Frakes will produce.
