Recent “Superman” Films Get Torn Apart

It has not been a fun day for the last Kryptonian.

A Reddit user has sparked an interesting debate, revealing that throughout the two-and-a-half hour runtime of Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Henry Cavill’s Superman has just 43 spoken lines in the film.

That’s around one line of dialogue by a title character for every three-and-a-half minutes of footage in the film. On top of that, quite a few are screams, with the actor ultimately saying just 473 words – all of which can be found on the thread.

Meanwhile the Honest Trailers gang have turned their attention towards Bryan Singer’s “Superman Returns” with a five-minute skewering of the problematically paced film that plays as “homage, sequel, remake and reboot” of the franchise. Check that out below:
