Rapman Turns Short Trilogy Into Blue Story

Andrew Onwubolu (aka Rapman) is set to direct “Blue Story,” a feature film adaptation of his short video trilogy of the same name for Paramount Pictures and BBC Films. Damian Jones and Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor are producing.

The story depicts a tragic tale of a friendship between Timmy and Marco, two very different young boys from opposing postcodes who quickly form a firm friendship until it is tested and they wind up on rival sides of a street war.

Stephen Odubola, Micheal Ward, Khali Best, Max Fincham, Kadeem Ramsay, Karla-Simone Spence and Eric Kofi-Abrefa co-star. Shooting will take place in South London with plans to release the film later this year.
