Raimi, Vaughn, Zemeckis Up For “The Flash”

Sam Raimi (“Spider-Man”), Matthew Vaughn (“X-Men: First Class”) and Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future”) are reportedly the top contenders to direct the upcoming “The Flash” film at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Heat Vision reports that though they’re the top three choices, other names are still in the mix for the Ezra Miller-led film that will be set in the DCEU and based on a script by Joby Harold (“King Arthur: The Legend Of The Sword”).

Scheduling is reportedly an issue as Warners wants to be filming by late Summer, but Zemeckis is committed to “The Women Of Marwen”. Raimi is reportedly considering several projects, while Vaughn may have a third “Kingsman” film on the cards sooner rather than later.
