R.I.P. Zsa Zsa Gabor

The one and only Zsa Zsa Gabor has passed away at the age of 99 following a heart attack in her home in Los Angeles earlier this afternoon.

Awarded the Miss Hungary crown in 1936, she later transitioned into film and television in America and did several movies including 1952’s “Moulin Rouge,” “Touch of Evil” and “Queen of Outer Space” amongst others along with countless TV appearances in the likes of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Gilligan’s Island,” “The Love Boat” and “Batman”.

A famed socialite known the world over, Gabor was also famous for having had nine husbands in her life ranging from hotel mogul Conrad Hilton to actor George Sanders to Barbie doll designer Jack Ryan. Her most recent husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, she has been married to for the past thirty years.

She also had no problem making fun of her own often sassy image with appearances as herself in the likes of “The Naked Gun 2.5: the Smell of Fear” and “Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors”.

Friend and former publicist Edward Lozzi says in a statement: “She did not suffer fools well. Zsa Zsa Gabor was one tough cookie. Her beautiful lips and mouth would also be her worst enemy when and if she turned on the verbal machine gun. Most of her problems originated from that beautiful mouth‚ĶZsa Zsa Gabor will always be an American icon and the klieg in the Gabor-Hilton dynasty.”
