Breckin Meyer, Lacey Chabert, Anne Archer, Amanda Walsh and Emma Stone have joined the romantic comedy “The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” for New Line says The Hollywood Reporter.
Matthew McConaughey plays Connor, a womanizer who attends the wedding of his younger brother (Meyer) and bride (Chabert). There, he’s haunted by several old flames, including the bride’s best friend (Jennifer Garner).
Archer plays the mother of the bride, a potential Connor conquest, and Walsh plays the only bridesmaid he hasn’t conquered. Stone plays the supernatural ghost who guides him through his romantic history ala Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.
Mark Waters directs from a Jon Lucas and Scott Moore’s screenplay. Shooting begins February 19th in Boston.
