Captain Phillips
Sneak preview screenings of Paul Greengrass’ “Captain Phillips” are set to take place this Saturday (Oct 5th) in over 800 theaters around the country, several days ahead of its official Oct 11th release.

Tom Hanks stars in the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama. Tickets can be purchased through Fandango.

Star Trek
“Hannibal” showrunner Bryan Fuller has one other dream project he’d still love to get around to someday – another “Star Trek” series. Fuller actually got his start as a writer on both “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.”

He says Trek is “such a big universe” which could go “many different places.” Then says: “I would love to create a ‘Star Trek’ show, so that’s on my dream docket… I have a very specific idea that I would love to do. We’ll see if I ever get the opportunity.” [Source: Crave Online]
