Quickies: Frozen, Turbo, PS4, Cycle, SW7

Did you happen to catch Tangled’s Rapunzel and Flynn cameoing in Disney’s new animated feature “Frozen”? Not even “Tangled” director Nathan Greno caught it the first time.

Cartoon Brew has posted a photo from “Frozen” pointing out the cameo in question along with a Twitter conversation with Greno seemingly confirming it.

Turbo FAST
“Turbo” may have fizzled at the box-office, but DreamWorks Animation is pressing on with the TV series “Turbo FAST”. The first five episodes will be released on Netflix on December 24th and marks the streaming service’s first original series for kids.

Further episodes will premiere throughout the year. The news is a deviation from Netflix’s traditional approach of making an entire season’s worth of episodes available at once. [Source: The Live Feed]

Sony have revealed that the first two weeks of U.S. sales combined with the first weekend of global sales have resulted in 2.1 million PS4 consoles having been sold since the system launch. [Source: Forbes]

Cycle Of Lies
D.V. DeVincentis (“Night Stalker”) has been hired to pen the script for Paramount and Bad Robot’s Lance Armstrong biopic based on Juliet Macur’s “Cycle Of Lies”.

The story covers cyclist Armstrong from his near-fatal bout with testicular cancer, his capturing glory with seven Tour de France titles, and his downfall with the doping scandal. [Source: Deadline]
