The X-Files
FOX has released the first photos from the upcoming eleventh season of “The X-Files,” the second since the series’ revival with this one running a longer ten-episode run in early 2018.

Mulder and Scully’s son William ‘will come to the fore’ in the new episodes, and fans wanting to see the pair patch up their relationship will “have something to look forward to” according to creator Chris Carter. [Source: EW]

A Tale of Two Cities
ABC is reportedly developing a one-hour contemporary drama series based on Charles Dickens’ novel “A Tale of Two Cities”. “Cars 3.” scribes Eyal Podell and Jonathon Stewart will write and executive produce for Mandeville TV and ABC Studios.

Set against the backdrop of a society on the verge of revolution. At the center of the story is Lucy Manette, who’s rehabilitating a stricken father she’s only just met while caught between two men she loves for different reasons. [Source: Variety]

Lindsey Gort (“The Carrie Diaries”) has scored the recurring role of Police Detective Amy Rohrbach on “Titans,” the upcoming live-action adaptation of the DC superhero property.

Rohrbach plays the new partner of Dick ‘Robin’ Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) in the series which hails from executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter

A Wrinkle in Time
“Game of Thrones” composer Ramin Djawadi has come aboard to do the score for Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s iconic novel “A Wrinkle in Time” at Disney Pictures. There’s no indication as yet regarding when the next trailer will hit, the first having launched at D23 during the Summer. [Source: Twitter]

Thor: Ragnarok
Marvel Studios gets enjoyably silly in a fun new “Thor: Ragnarok” behind-the-scenes video that Paramount just released online and emphasies the scale and humor of the project. “Thor: Ragnarok” opens in cinemas on November 3rd.
