The Wrong Husband
Zimbabwean-Australian actor Rick Cosnett (“The Flash,” “Quantico”) is set to star in Ben Meyerson’s indie feature “The Wrong Husband” which will shoot soon in Los Angeles.
The story follows a woman who, one day, notices that her husband is… different. She soon learns he’s actually her husbands identical twin, back to steal the life that was once rightfully his. [Source: Deadline]
Alexandra Shipp (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “Love, Simon””) is set to co-star opposite Adam Devine in the comedy “Lexi” for CBS Films. “The Hangover” scribes and “Bad Moms” helmers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore are on board to direct the feature, which they also penned. Shipp will play Cate, the love interest of Devine’s character. Filming begins in California in January. [Source: Deadline]
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
Hello Sunshine and MGM are teaming on a film adaptation of Gail Honeyman’s best-selling novel “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” with Liz Hannah (“The Post”) scripting and Reese Witherspoon producing.
The story follows a woman who goes from living a lonely life to realizing the only way to survive is to open your heart. The novel has sold over one million copies in the U.S. and Canada. [Source: Variety]
A couple of key TV promo trailers today including the second season of FOX’s sci-fi series “The Orville,” the third season of HBO’s “High Maintenance” and the new Hulu comedy “PEN15”. All are set to debut in vry early 2019.
