Netflix has posted a first photo of Geralt’s beloved horse Roach in the upcoming live-action TV series based on the fantasy novel (and game) series “The Witcher”. Henry Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia in the project about a solitary monster hunter who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. When destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together. [Source: Twitter]

Dark Phoenix
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has renamed “Dark Phoenix” to “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” for its home video release. The film has settled on a September 3rd release on Digital HD and a 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on September 17th. Five deleted scenes will be included along with a five-part documentary, scene breakdown and commentary by Simon Kinberg and Hutch Parker. [Source: ComicBook.com]

Damien Chazelle reportedly wants Brad Pitt for a role alongside Emma Stone in his upcoming next directorial feature effort “Babylon”. At present, however, Pitt has yet to have a meeting on the project. The film is set in 1920s Hollywood and mixes real and fictional characters as the film industry moves away from the silent era into ‘talkies’. [Source: Variety]

Neon and Topic Studios have released a new TV spot for the psychological thriller “Luce” which will debut in theaters on August 2nd. An all-star high school athlete and accomplished debater adopted from a war-torn country a decade earlier, Luce (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) is a poster boy for his school. When Luce’s teacher (Octavia Spencer) makes a shocking discovery in his locker, his stellar reputation is called into question. But is he really at fault, or is she preying on dangerous stereotypes? Naomi Watts and Tim Roth also star.
