A new listing at Production Weekly indicates that the Tom Hardy-led “Venom” sequel is gearing up to begin filming in November, specifically on November 25th in the UK under the working title “Fillmore”. Andy Serkis helms the film while Woody Harrellson also stars in the film which will likely have an October 2020 release.

Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Nickelodeon has released the promo trailer for “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” its upcoming three-part limited series revival of the young adult horror franchise premiering on October 11th. Over three one-hour episodes, the series introduces an entirely new Midnight Society group of kids who tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of the story come to life.

American Horror Story: 1984
FX has released the official opening credits for “American Horror Story: 1984,” the ninth season of its horror anthology series from producer Ryan Murphy premiering September 18th. The new season draws much inspiration from 1980s slasher films and introduces the villain ‘Mr. Jingles’.

Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, and John Carroll Lynch are all set to return along with new cast members Gus Kenworthy, Zach Villa, DeRon Horton, Angelica Ross and “Glee” alum Matthew Morrison.

Avengers: Endgame
A new nearly 20-minute video from Wired speaks with VFX genius Jen Underdahl who goes into all the major visual effects work conducted on the last two “Avengers” films. The clip indicates a whole bunch of ‘Endgame’ elements you may have thought were practical – such as the white Quantum Realm suits – are in fact entirely digital effects. Check the clip out below:
