“Thor: Love and Thunder” director Taika Waititi has confirmed he will be reprising his fan-favorite rock character Korg in the upcoming fourth installment of the “Thor” franchise. Korg previously appeared in both “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Avengers: Endgame”. Filming on the new “Thor” film is expected to begin in early 2020 in Australia ahead of a November 5th 2021 opening. Jurassic World 3
The Colin Trevorrow-directed third installment in the “Jurassic World” franchise is reportedly set to begin shooting in February of next year ahead of a June 2021 release according to the film’s producer Frank Marshall. In addition, the film is already in pre-production at Pinewood Studios. Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and Laura Dern will return to the franchise for this new outing. [Source: Collider]

TriStar Pictures has pre-emptively picked up Cooper McMains’ spec thriller feature “The Tip” with John Strickland (Netflix’s “Bodyguard”) attached to direct. The Sky Is Everywhere
Apple and A24 are teaming up on an adaptation of Jandy Nelson’s young adult novel “The Sky Is Everywhere”. Nelson will adapt and write the script while Josephine Decker (“Madeline‚Äôs Madeline”) is attached to direct. The novel follows a teen as she works through the loss of her sister, and her journey includes accidentally falling in love. Denise Di Novi and Margaret French Isaac will produce. [Source: Deadline]
