A new photo is out of Taron Egerton as Robin of Locksley and Jamie Foxx as Little John in the upcoming gritty “Robin Hood” reboot at Lionsgate which opens September 21st.

Otto Bathurst helms the film set during the Crusades and also stars Jamie Dornan as Will Scarlet, Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian, Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck, and Paul Anderson as Sir Guy of Gisborne. [Source: Twitter]

Universal Pictures has set a May 10th 2019 release date for the live-action “Pokemon” film at Legendary and Universal.

Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton star in the film based on the globally popular franchise. Rob Letterman is directing and production commences mid-January in London. [Source: THR]

Jenna Coleman is set to reprise her role as the British monarch in a third season of “Victoria” for ITV and PBS Masterpiece. Creator Daisy Goodwin returns to produce the project alongside Rebecca Eaton.

Coleman plays the young Queen Victoria opposite Tom Hughes as Prince Albert. Hughes is also returning for the new episodes which will start in 1848 and deal with revolutions on the continent and uncertainty around the monarchy as royal scandals, political skirmishes and constitutional crises threaten to engulf everything. Katherine Langford (“13 Reasons Why”) is attached as the female lead in Brian Duffield’s sci-fi fantasy film “Spontaneous” based on the young adult novel of the same name by Aaron Starmer.

Langford will star as Mara Carlye, whose life is forever changed when students in her senior class literally explodes for no discernible reason. As students continue to pop like blood-filled balloons, Mara and her friends stay close together as they await possible combustion. [Source: Deadline]
