Filming has apparently wrapped on “Pet Sematary,” the new adaptation of the Stephen King novel from “Starry Eyes” directors Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch. The film’s first AD has posted a new photo which you can see above which includes a glimpse of John Lithgow’s Jud Crandall. Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz also star in the film which opens in April. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the premiere of Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park,” thebeloved film adaptation of the Michael Crichton novel will be returning to cinemas nationwide for three days – Sunday September 16th, Tuesday September 18th and Wednesday September 19th.
Fans will have a chance to see Jurassic Park in one of the over 500 theaters that will be participating in the event. Screenings will include a 17-minute remake of the film created by fans worldwide. Tickets for “Jurassic Park” can be purchased at FathomEvents.com or at any participating theater.

Alexandra Daddario plays a girl who shares her secrets with a handsome stranger next to her. on a turbulent plane ride. Later she learns the man was Jack Harper, her company’s young and elusive CEO who knows every single humiliating detail about her. [Source: Deadline]
Random Acts of Violence
Jesse Williams (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Jordana Brewster (“The Fast and the Furious”) will star in Jay Baruchel’s road-trip horror film “Random Acts of Violence”. Baruchel and Niamh Wilson will also str in the film which just began shooting in Toronto.
The story follows a comic book creator as they go on a road trip. Soon, bad things start to happen and people start getting killed in a fashion eerily similar to the kills portrayed in his Slasherman comic. It seems a very avid fan is out there following them and hurting people, and using Todd’s comic as inspiration. [Source: Deadline]
Alexa Demie (“Mid90s”) is set to join Lucas Hedges and Sterling K. Brown in “It Comes At Night” director Trey Edward Shults’ “Waves” at A24. Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Taylor Russell co-star in the film which will shoot in Florida.
The movie is an energetic, affecting musical dealing with contemporary teenage life. It follows two young couples as they navigate the emotional minefield of growing up and falling in love. The film will be almost entirely synchronized to music. [Source: Variety]
