Before it became an acclaimed TV series, Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s “Fleabag” began life as a one-woman play. Now National Theatre Live, which regularly live broadcasts note-worthy productions from the London stage, is bringing the original play to movie theaters.
Waller-Bridge herself has been doing encore performances of the one-woman show recently, and from September 12th, audiences can see the original play as performed by Waller-Bridge from London’s Wyndham’s Theatre. [Source: EW]
