Veteran actors Jeremy Irons and Diane Keaton will lead writer/director Dennis Dugan’s “Love, Weddings & Other Disasters”. Diego Boneta, Jesse McCartney, Veronica Ferres and DNCE guitarist JinJoo Lee also star.

The multistory romantic comedy follows the people who work on weddings to create the perfect day for the loving couple, while their own relationships are outlandish, odd, crazy and hardly perfect. Filming begins in Boston on September 16th. Dugan is responsible for plenty of Adam Sandler’s biggest hits including “Happy Gilmore,” “Big Daddy” and the “Grown Ups” films. [Source: THR]

Before it became an acclaimed TV series, Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s “Fleabag” began life as a one-woman play. Now National Theatre Live, which regularly live broadcasts note-worthy productions from the London stage, is bringing the original play to movie theaters.

Waller-Bridge herself has been doing encore performances of the one-woman show recently, and from September 12th, audiences can see the original play as performed by Waller-Bridge from London’s Wyndham’s Theatre. [Source: EW]
