Maze Runner: The Death Cure
20th Century Fox announced on Friday that it has moved up the release of Dylan O’Brien’s sci-fi action film “Maze Runner: The Death Cure” by two weeks. Originally slated for February 9th, this third and final film in the franchise will now open January 26th. [Source: Fox]

Damascus
Pandemonium Entertainment has optioned the film rights to Bennett Fisher’s screenplay adaptation of his award-winning play “Damascus”. Bill Mechanic and Jib Polhemus will produce, no director has yet been set.

Set after an explosion at the Minneapolis airport, a stranded teenager pleads with a Somali-American airport shuttle driver to drive him home to Chicago. As the two men cross the Midwest in the dead of winter, they discover that not everything is what it seems. [Source: Deadline]

The Post
Fox and Amblin Entertainment have re-named Steven Spielberg’s Pentagon Papers film from “The Papers” to “The Post”. Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep star in the tale about the Washington Post’s decision to publish the classified Pentagon Papers in 1971. The film gets a limited release on December 22nd before going wide January 12th. [Source: Variety]

Wonder Woman
Lucy Davis’ memorable turn as Etta Candy, Steve Trevor’s secretary in the “Wonder Woman” film, gets her own featurette which ties into the upcoming Blu-ray release of the film.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment produced the short clip which recounts the narrative from Etta’s perspective and comes ahead of specially made ‘epilogue’ that will appear on the disc and gives Etta her own adventure.
