Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool
Sony Pictures Classics has picked up all rights in North America, Eastern Europe, Germany, and Asia pay television to Annette Bening’s “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool” which premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

Vanessa Redgrave, Jamie Bell, and Julie Walters star in the Paul McGuigan-directed romantic drama about the passionate relationship between British actor Peter Turner’s and eccentric Oscar-winning actress Gloria Grahame. [Source: Variety]

Kingsman: The Golden Circle
20th Century Fox has just released a new TV spot for Matthew Vaughn’s “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” which opens September 22nd. Entitled ‘Southern Charm,’ the clip offers another look at the secret intelligence agency.

Major Crimes
TNT has set an October 31st premiere date for the sixth season of its hit crime drama series “Major Crimes”. Billy Burke will reprise his role as the nefarious Phillip Stroh in the new episodes, while the team is also dealing with the new assistant chief Leonard Roberts.

Director Lee Unkrich has posted a brand-new international poster for Pixar’s animated feature “Coco” which tells the story of a young boy who visits the Land of the Dead. The feature, one of the only original films from Pixar in the next few years, opens November 22nd.
