The first photo has been released from Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell” which deals with the case of the security guard who discovered the bombs during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and was subsequently blamed for it. “Hostel” helmer Eli Roth is set to produce the horror film “10-31” for Orion Pictures. “Office Uprising” screenwriters Ian Shorr and Peter Gamble penned the script based on a short story written by Laurie Ashbroune and Kathy Charles.

The story follows a young woman who takes her niece and nephew trick-or-treating and discovers a note inside a candy wrapper that says there’s a killer loose on her block. Roth, Roger Bimbaum and John Zaozinny are also producing. [Source: Variety]

Lucca Mortis
Morgan Freeman will produce and star in Peter Greenaway’s drama “Lucca Mortis”. Freeman will portray a writer whose last big adventure will very likely be death. Based in New York City’s Little Italy, he takes a sabbatical and travels with his family to Lucca, Italy in order to trace his ancestral roots and clean up the loose ends in his life. Morgan will produce with Lori McCreary and Kees Kasander. Filming begins March 2020. [Source: Variety]

Jojo Rabbit
Fox Searchlight has released an official clip from Taika Waititi’s upcoming dark comedy “JoJo Rabbit” featuring Scarlett Johannssons character explaining to her son Jojo why love is the strongest thing in the world. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Thomasin McKenzie, Alfie Allen, Stephen Merchant and introducing Roman Griffin Davis as Jojo. The film opens in theaters on October 18th.

Doctor Sleep
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette for “Doctor Sleep,” the upcoming sequel to Stephen King’s “The Shining” which hails from writer/director Mike Flanagan. The new featurette explores the journey that Ewan McGregor’s Danny Torrance has taken following the traumatizing events of his childhood.
