Blumhouse and Universal Pictures have released a new shot from David Gordon Green’s new “Halloween” sequel which is slated for release October 19th. Exposure
Deon Taylor (“Traffik,” “The House Next Door”) is reportedly set to direct “Exposure” for Screen Gems. Peter A. Dowling penned the film about a rookie Detroit African-American female cop who stumbles upon corrupt officers who are murdering a drug dealer, an incident captured by her body cam.

They pursue her through the night in an attempt to destroy the footage, but to make matters worse, they’ve tipped off a criminal gang that she’s responsible for the dealer’s death. Sean Sorensen is producing. [Source: Deadline]

Wonder Woman 1984
Bollywood star Soundarya Sharma (“Ranchi Diaries”) has reportedly scored a role in Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman 1984” and is expected to begin filming her scenes in October. The superhero sequel is currently in production and is set to hit cinemas on November 1st 2019. [Source: The Hindu]

Hush, Hush
Liana Liberato (“Novitiate”) and Wolfgang Novogratz (“Assassination Nation”) have scored the lead roles in the upcoming film adaptation of Becca Fitzpatrick’s young adult supernatural romance novel saga “Hush, Hush”. Kellie Cyrus is helming the film from a script by Peter Hutchings.

Liberato will play Nora Grey, a high school student who meets the otherworldly hottie, Patch Cipriano (Novogratz) and things take a turn for the weird as she’s drawn to his brooding, bad boy charm but knows he’s hiding something. That turns out to be that he’s a cursed supernatural being who needs a human sacrifice to survive. [Source: Deadline]

Private Life
Netflix has announced an October 5th premiere date for “The Savages” director Tamara Jenkins’ new film “Private Life” starring Paul Giamatti and Kathryn Hahn. The duo plays a couple in the throes of infertility who try to maintain their marriage as they descend deeper into the insular world of assisted reproduction and domestic adoption. [Source: Netflix]
