Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass” will be coming to Digital HD on April 2nd and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on April 16th. The film, which serves as a sequel to both “Unbreakable” and “Split,” gets twelve deleted scenes, an alternate opening, and nearly a dozen featurettes all included as extras. [Source: UPHE]
The Night Circus
“Patti Cake$” helmer Geremy Jasper has signed on to direct the film adaptation of Erin Morgenstern’s fantasy novel “The Night Circus” for Lionsgate. David Heyman, Tim Palen and Jeffrey Clifford will produce while Annie Baker penned the latest script draft.
The story is set at the beginning of the 19th century and follows two young magicians, pawns in an age-old rivalry between their mercurial illusionist fathers and the enchanted circus where their competition and romances play out. Dev Patel and his “Hotel Mumbai” co-star Tilda Cobham-Hervey are teaming with writer John Collee (“Happy Feet”) on “Roborovski,” an animated twelve-minute short film and VR project about a murderous hamster. Patel and Cobham-Hervey will also co-direct and produce alongside Jomon Thomas, Mark Grentell and Elaine Beckett.
The story follows a thimble-sized hamster who spends his days in Marvin’s Pet Shop, hoping to find a family. However, when he is constantly overlooked by the people and animals around him his seething resentment and intense jealousy soon takes hold and a murderous side of little Roborovski is released. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Respawn Entertainment and EA’s action-adventure game “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” will be revealed in Chicago during the Star Wars Celebration on April 13th.
