The John Travolta-led and Fred Durst-directed film, previously known as “Moose,” has now scored the new title of “The Fanatic” and will be released directly on Amazon on June 29th. Travolta plays Moose, a man obsessed with a celebrity named Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa) and heads to Hollywood to meet Dunbar, but the meeting doesn’t go as planned. CBS All Access has set an August 15th premiere date for Marc Cherry’s dark comedy drama series “Why Women Kill” starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Lucy Liu, Showtime has set an August 25th launch date for the fifth and final season of “The Affair” and Audience has set a September 10th premiere date for the third season of “Mr. Mercedes”. Untitled Apatow/Davidson Comedy
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly will re-team with comedian Pete Davidson, after both worked on the indie comedy “Big Time Adolescence,” for an untitled Judd Apatow produced comedy setup at Universal Pictures. Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow and Pamela Adlon also star in the film with story details under wraps. Filming begins this summer ahead of a release on June 19th 2020.
