Clifford the Big Red Dog
Comedian Jack Whitehall (“Jungle Cruise”) and Darby Camp (“Big Little Lies) have joined Walt Becker’s adaptation of the children’s book series classic “Clifford the Big Red Dog” at Paramount Pictures. by Jordan Kerner and Iole Lucchese produce and filming begins next month in New York.

The story follows the misadventures of a giant red dog and his owner, a girl named Emily Elizabeth who is struggling to fit in at home and at school. Then the dog attracts the attention of a genetics company, Emily (Camp) and her Uncle Casey (Whitehall) have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City. 10 Blind Dates
Ace Entertainment (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”) has acquired feature film rights to Ashley Elston’s young adult novel “10 Blind Dates”. J. Mills Goodloe (“The Mountain Between Us”) is attached to adapt the screenplay and executive produce alongside Max Siemers and Robyn Marshall.

The story centers on recently heartbroken Sophie, who escapes to her grandparents’ house where her grandmother plots to set her up on ten different blind dates set up by different family members. When her ex-boyfriend turns up unexpectedly, Sophie is more confused than ever because maybe, just maybe, she’s started to have feelings for someone elseā€¦.someone who is definitely not available. Army of the Dead
British actress Ella Purnell has joined the cast of Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead”. Purnell plays Kate, the sister of Dave Bautista’s character. Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi and Huma Qureshi also star.

Snyder and Shay Hatten wrote the script for the project which follows a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas and a man assembling a group of mercenaries to pull off the greatest heist. Snyder and his wife Deborah Snyder are producing and filming begins in July. [Source: The Wrap]

Child’s Play
Orion Pictures has unleashed a new TV spot from the upcoming “Child’s Play” remake, the commercial offering a clearer glimpse at the new Chucky. Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry and Mark Hamill co-star in the new take on the property which has been helmed by Lars Klevberg and is slated to open in cinemas on June 21st.
