“Entourage” director Doug Ellin has tweeted a photo of the primary cast for the upcoming film version of the HBO comedy, along with the announcement of a January 16th start-of-production date. This allows Warners to keep the California tax credit it needs to make the movie. [Source: Twitter]

Universal has set a June 20th 2014 release date for the sequel to this year’s surprise horror hit “The Purge”.

While James DeMonaco is returning to write and direct, the currently unnamed sequel hasn’t announced a production start date or cast as yet. [Source: The Wrap]

Mission: Impossible 5
Simon Pegg has confirmed he’s set to return to the role of Benji Dunn in the upcoming fifth “Mission: Impossible” film.

Pegg, who joined the franchise in the third installment, was asked if he’d be back and said: “Yes, absolutely. I’m looking forward to that. I’ve already started eating one carrot a day in order to be in shape.” [Source: MTV]
